We had the chance to share about planning in a creative way recently. Mark and Keri from KLRC invited us to join their morning radio show to share about wise spending for back to school shopping. The first day of school will be here before you know it and that means packing up the lunch box and taking a picture on the front porch for mom. But before that day comes, there are many things that need to be taken care of. Long pants seem to turn into Capri’s because the kids are growing so fast. The search for deals on new clothes, backpacks and school supplies begin to take over our lives.
A little back to school planning can go a long way. We want to encourage you to have a plan when shopping for school supplies and new clothes for your children. Create a spending plan for this event and stick to it!

These “emergencies” happen many times throughout the year and we do not know how to pay for them. Car repairs, Christmas gifts or even back to school shopping can sneak up on us and seem like an “emergency.” With simple planning, it is beneficial to set money aside and get ahead of the curve when these events happen; they will happen.
Chris Haas and Bill Robertson had the chance to talk more in depth about this subject on KLRC. They explain wise spending for back to school shopping. Tune your radio to 101.1 FM starting August 9th to get some practical tips while heading back to school.
